I'm a BTF Level 3 coach and Training Peaks Level 2 coach and have been coaching triathlon since 2010. I am head coach at the University of Nottingham Triathlon Club and coach and Chair at TFN Tri Club. My day job is a research scientist in human metabolic physiology at the University of Nottingham which allows me to use current scientific approaches within my coaching.
My coaching philosophy is focused around helping people achieve their goals and dreams in sport and giving them the tools and knowledge to help them progress as much as possible within the constraints of daily life. Consistency is the key to success and to achieve this I design training programs that are individualised and personal to you, I will consider your current fitness levels and the time available to train and use approaches that maximise fitness adaptation.
